The existence of huge natural gas resources in the country, along with the increasing demand for natural gas as a clean fossil fuel, has made it essential to study natural gas exports with a variety of approaches. In this study, considering the energy situation of the three countries of India, Pakistan and Turkey, the conditions for exporting natural gas through pipelines to these countries were examined. In this regard, the economic - security risks related to the export of natural gas through the pipeline were identified and then, by providing quantitative indicators, each of these risks was calculated for the countries studied and compared with each other. Finally, by calculating the overall risk index, Turkey was the least-risk (0.519) country as the export priority of the Islamic Republic of Iran. India (0.67) and Pakistan (0.677) were ranked second and third respectively.
