Banks as financial and service institutions play a decisive role in the circulation of money and the wealth of society and thus have a special place in the economy of each country. The nature of activity in the banking industry requires that special supervision be exercised over the conduct of banking activities, as conducting operations contrary to Islamic principles can lead to imposing irreparable costs on the economic body of society. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present a comprehensive model of supervision in the Iranian banking system. In this study, a qualitative and quantitative method was used to present the research model.. In the quantitative section, we use Demetel methods and hierarchical analysis to derive the model. In the first stage, 142 concepts were extracted from 10 interviews with experts. Secondly, the concepts were reduced to 128 and the categories reduced to 9. The categories include supervision objectives, banking supervision prerequisites, supervisor characteristics, supervisory powers, supervisory areas, performance evaluation indicators, compliance with Islamic standard )prevention of corruption and money laundering(. Based on the results of the DEMATEL method, it(Dematel) was found that the domains of supervision are the most effective and most influential component.According to the AHP approach, the goals of monitoring with a score of 0.197 have the highest score among the other components.
