In the current environment where the national economy is subject to economic threats and sanctions (aligning with discussions on economic warfare and defense economics), the role of strategic financial institutions like state-owned banks in ensuring economic security and achieving resistance economy is vital. Organizational wisdom, as a set of shared values and behaviors, is a key factor for optimal decision-making when facing economic shocks. This study aims to design a conceptual model for an Indigenous Pattern of Organizational Wisdom in state-owned banks that can enhance organizational resilience in line with defense development goals. The research employed a qualitative approach using the Strauss and Corbin (1998) Grounded Theory method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with academic experts and senior organizational managers and analyzed using qualitative content analysis with MAXQDA software. The findings indicate that the indigenous model of organizational wisdom is a multi-level pattern where causal conditions—including resilient organizational culture and learning, sensitive technology and information infrastructure, and wise leadership in economic crisis management—create the foundation for wisdom formation. This model can serve as a practical guide for bank managers to enhance performance in the areas of economic defense and national sustainability.
