Abstract

Start-ups play a key role in creating jobs and increasing output in a “Resistive Economy”. In today's unstable environment, start-ups have no choice but to acquire environmental information through “strategic intelligence” in order to succeed in the face of environmental challenges and adapt to change, as well as increase competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to provide a model of strategic intelligence for start-ups in the context of resistive economics. The present applied research is based on descriptive and survey method. Accordingly, the factors affecting strategic intelligence are identified and grouped in both internal and external contexts. Based on the study of theoretical foundations and comparison of previous studies, the initial model of research has been developed. The developed model has been validated and prioritized by Fuzzy Delphi Method(FDM). The results showed that business intelligence or internal intelligence and competitive intelligence or external intelligence are the two dimensions of strategic intelligence for start-ups. It is proposed that managers use the identified concepts to build and develop start-ups and increase their intelligence to help achieve the goals of a resistive economy.
